March 28, 1924: "Fire Warden Maurice F. Aaron has arranged for a large steel fire tower to be erected at Mizpah, larger than the McKee City tower, which will greatly increase the efficiency of the forest fire service in this part of the county and in conjunction with the other towns enable guards to locate fires accurately as soon as they start."
