HOSTEIN
Pennsylvania - Cambria County
April 26, 1928: "The only tubular fire observation tower in the State eighty feet in height was erected near Dunlo in southern Cambria county, and is named the Hostein Tower in honor of one of the early settlers in that section.
The Windler Real Estate Company contributed more than 25 per cent of the cost of erecting the tower, as it overlooks several thousand acres of their forest land which has been planted with forest tree seedlings." (McKean County Democrat)
