September 24, 1936: "This week work of completing the telephone line from Humphreys county line to the tower on J. W. Eakin's farm near Eulogy will be accomplished. Fifty men of the delta CCC camp are aiding in the work. The tower will be known as Eakin Tower No. 4. Within the next ten days it is hoped to have it connected with the fire tower north of town."
