April 25, 1941: "Lookout towerman Frank Woodward of Rumney officially occupied the Stinson Mountain Fire Tower Sunday, April 13 for the first time this year. Other fire towers on the District will be manned within the next few days if the present dry weather continues." (Groton Times)
